Tea + Philosophy

Are you curious how you can continue your yoga practice after you’ve left the studio? Meet Megan for an enlightening chat about philosophical concepts and practices from the yoga sutras.

Cozy up at The Kula Collective, and explore ways that the sutras can be practiced in your daily life. Enjoy warm sips of tea as you engage in a small group discussion about the many practices of yoga outside of asana, then end your time with a short guided meditation led by Megan.

Hot tea will be provided. Journal and pen recommended.

Monday, October 28 @ 6-7:15p @ THE KULA COLLECTIVE

Sip, sip, hooray!

Sacred Reflections: Tarot + Journaling

Set aside intentional time, and hold yourself accountable to the healthy habits of self-reflection and journaling. You'll be invited to dig into Megan’s massive collection of oracle and tarot decks, and spend time pondering what you want to cultivate and manifest.

Bring a journal and pen to Sacred Reflections, choose decks to work with, and spend a few moments digging into your intuition and writing about what the images and messages the cards bring up for you. This is a special time for you to become more mindful of where you put your energy and how you choose to live with intention. Megan, an experienced reader, will be available throughout the session to offer general guidance, possible card interpretations, and spread ideas.

Monday, October 28 @ 7:30-8:30p @ THE KULA COLLECTIVE
Participants are welcome to arrive anytime after 7:30p

Sound Bath

Soak up over an hour of relaxation, energetic restoration, and vibrational sound. Megan will play a variety of instruments, including quartz crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, and gongs, to help you hit the reset button on your central nervous system. Each instrument involved in the Sound Bath is mindfully played for its restorative properties. You'll enjoy a more balanced energetic body, as well as a calmer, more peaceful head space.

Wear comfortable, cozy clothes (pajamas and socks encouraged!), and bring a pillow and blanket.

Buti Yoga Open House

Have you wanted to try a Buti Yoga class, but weren't sure what it's all about? Hesitant to sign up, because you think the style "isn't for you," "is too hard," or you have to "work up to it" first?

Join Brittany and Danea to squash those Buti myths!

Brittany and Danea will lead a group discussion all about Buti Yoga -- the history of the practice, what to expect in class, and common misconceptions. You'll learn the elements of a Buti class, including the static shake, spiral structure technique, the chakra awakening series, and the form for common Buti poses, like Goddess and Malasana.

Once the learning is done, you'll hit the mat and experience a mini-Buti class.

There will be time for one-on-one questions and personal form coaching post-class.

If you're eager (or a little nervous) to give Buti a shot, this workshop is for you. Take the leap, sweat it out, and leave with your Buti Qs answered!

Saturday, November 9 @ 10:30a-12p @ LEONARD
This event is free, though sign ups are required.

Satya Sound RESET Breathwork, Cacao, + Connection

Join Sarah (Harken) Sutton for a sacred night of mental and emotional release, inner growth, and transformation through breathwork and community.

The evening will begin with a RESET Breathwork session, guided through Satya Sound headsets, which help tune out sounds and distractions so students can go deeper into their individual experiences.

There will be space to journal or rest before Sarah leads a Cacao Ceremony to assist in the integration of the Breathwork experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to share and listen to others.

What is RESET Breathwork?
RESET is a 3-part conscious connected breathing pattern used to release stored emotions and trauma in the mind and body, reset the nervous system, and create an elevated state of being. The RESET Breath Method takes you deeper than traditional Pranayama, breathing into your body and inner world, inviting more release and a state of relaxation and awareness.

R: Re-calibrate your nervous system
E: Elevate your vibration
S: Somatically release stored emotions
E: Expand your consciousness
T: Transform into your most authentic self

This transformational practice will get you out of your head and into your heart, leaving you feeling light, peaceful, calm, grounded, and blissed out.

Do not register if you are pregnant or recently post-natal (6 weeks or less)

Reach out to Sarah before registering if you are currently experiencing or have a history of the following: Cardiovascular Disease, Angina, Heart Attack, High Blood Pressure, Glaucoma, Retinal Detachment, Osteoporosis, Significant Injuries, Recent Surgery, Severe Mental Illness (Eg.
